Internship - Paper & Board Department
What is it about
We are looking to hire candidates with limited or no experience at all, train them and offer them an opportunity to become Traders in our Paper & Board Division.
This is a paid internship role. All employees will be hired with a fixed-term contract with full benefits as per Greek labour law.
This is a commercial role, that involves international sales and procurement activities on a global level. The role is based in Thessaloniki, Greece.📍
What does a Trader do at VIPA?
They are responsible for buying and selling paper products in line with market demand and company strategy.
They monitor market trends, negotiates with suppliers and customers, manages contracts and pricing, and ensures timely execution of trades. Work closely with logistics, finance, and sales teams to optimize profitability, minimize risk, and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.
What we are looking for
People with outgoing personalities, who are interesting in the international commerce field and envision themselves travelling and collaborating with a diverse people from other cultures and countries.
University Degree
Excellent knowledge of English
Excellent use of MS Office
Dynamic, outgoing personality

What we offer
✔ Fixed salary of 900 Euros net for the first 3 months and 1.000 Euros net for the next 3 months, with full benefits as per Greek labour law
✔ Extensive, specialized training in Back Office Operations (Logistics, International Commerce), Sales and Soft Skills
The process
👉 Phase A - 3 months
After the recruiting phase, the interns are hired and placed in the Back Office Department of the Paper and Board Division. They receive specialized training on international operations and Logistics and connect with our Traders.
During this period, the performance and training progress are evaluated on a monthly basis, thourgh formal and informal meetings.
At the end of this period, the selected interns are moved to the next phase. Interns not matching the set criteria, either remain in Back Office Operations or are let go.
👉 Phase B - 3 months
Specialized training in Sales and Soft Skills is provided. Interns meet with the Traders on a regular basis and have the opportunity to participate in meetings with the clients in Greece or abroad. The selected interns begin to work as Junior Traders and the Paper & Board Division.
