Responsibilities
Visiting supplier facilities in order to inspect recycled paper to verify its quality and suitability for specific customer needs
Planning of inspections and travel efficiently and effectively on a regular basis
Communicate inspection findings and reports with the relevant departments
Creating inspection reports manually and within the system
Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Participating in departmental meetings
Identify and investigate possible issues or potential new ventures directly with suppliers and other colleagues
Other ad hoc duties
The ideal candidate
Experience working in a recycling or manufacturing facility (desirable)
Awareness of different paper grades or willingness to learn
Availability to travel in the greater Mid-West area frequently (90%) and sometimes at short notice
Access to own car with full liability insurance essential ($ per mile paid)
High commitment to personal safety
Physically fit and capable of long periods standing/walking as well as some lifting
