Responsibilities
Follow all logistics movements related to assigned trades
Being aware of best freight rates available and making sure these are applied
Assuring the correct fulfillment of contractual obligations, collaborating closely with other parties involved
Resolving critical problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports/exports, and customer needs
Communicating with shipping lines and other logistic companies
Ensuring carrier compliance with VIPA's procedures for the transportation of products
Collaborating closely with back-office teams of the group
Creating accurate documents for carriers and transport companies alike
Filing and saving documents accurately
Creating reports to provide the tools that management needs in order to formulate forecasts
Responding effectively to any issues and complains
The ideal candidate
Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field
At least 2 years of experience in any logistics role or CI role
Excellent communication skills in English
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong communication and organisation skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise projects
Problem solving skills
Capable of working within a stressful and commercially driven environment
