Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Being responsible for regular execution of payroll

  • Reviewing and certifying payroll sign offs as required

  • Assessing technology requirements and changes and ensuring that software updates are completed by the vendor in a timely and complete manner

  • Ensuring all regulatory requirements and updates are performed and completed as required

  • Identifying opportunities and implementing continuous improvement and transformational projects

  • Collaborating with the People Operations Department for payroll and compensation issues

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred

  • 4+ years experience in payroll in a large organization

  • Very good knowledge of labour law

  • Fluency in English

  • Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to perform data analysis and complex calculations
