Key Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with supplier and client base through face-to-face meetings, emails and telephone calls
Procure material
Perform inspection of material to ensure quality
Monitor prices and market trends in order to talk intelligently to suppliers about the market procure material
Support suppliers and clients in issues they face regarding their orders, in collaboration with the Back Office department
Qualifications & Competencies
Experience in a similar commercial or logistics role in commodity trading sector (ideally in Recovered Paper, Plastics or Metals)
Familiarity with the Paper and Recycling industry (especially paper mills and recycling plants)
Native speaker of Spanish or Portuguese. Proficiency in English is a must. Additional languages will be an advantage
Strong commercial acumen / negotiation skills
Availability for business travel
Good numerical skills and attention to detail
Adaptive to change, and ability to work under pressure
Strong decision-making ability
